My Approach

I strive to foster a supportive environment for you to show up as yourself and be met with warmth, compassion, and non-judgement. I believe my clients are not ‘problems to solve’ but humans with rich histories and capacities for change.

Providing Support For...

Stress and Anxiety

I help people who feel overwhelmed by stress, persistent worry, or a sense of unease. Whether you're navigating work pressures, life transitions, relationship challenges, or struggling with overthinking and self-doubt, therapy can provide tools to manage anxiety, build resilience, and create a greater sense of calm and clarity.

Self-Criticism and Perfectionism

I assist individuals who struggle with a harsh inner critic, unrealistic standards, or the constant pressure to “get it right.” Perfectionism can create anxiety, burnout, and a deep sense of never being good enough. In therapy, we’ll work to understand the roots of these patterns, develop more self-compassion, and support you in embracing your worth beyond achievement or performance.

Hopelessness and Depression

I work with people who are feeling weighed down by sadness, emptiness, or a loss of motivation and joy. Depression can affect how you think, feel, and relate to the world—and it can make even simple tasks feel overwhelming. In therapy, we’ll gently explore the roots of your pain, reconnect you with your sense of purpose, and support you in finding hope, meaning, and movement forward.

Creative Issues

I support artists, performers, and creatives who feel stuck, uninspired, or disconnected from their work. Whether you're facing self-doubt, fear of failure, burnout, or pressure to constantly produce, therapy can help you explore the emotional layers behind your creative struggles. Together, we’ll work to reconnect you with your creative voice and cultivate a more sustainable, fulfilling relationship with your art.

Services

Individual Psychotherapy

Individual therapy offers a supportive, one-on-one space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Together, we’ll work to uncover the patterns and challenges that may be holding you back, build insight and coping tools, and help you move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life. This process is tailored to your unique needs and pace, whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, or a desire for deeper self-understanding.

Therapy for Creatives

As a creative person, your inner world is often your greatest asset—but it can also feel overwhelming, vulnerable, or blocked. In therapy, I offer a supportive space where actors, writers, and other creatives can explore the emotional complexities that come with a creative life. Whether you're struggling with performance anxiety, self-doubt, burnout, or the pressure to produce, therapy can help you reconnect with yourself and create from a place of clarity and authenticity.

Artist Support Group

This group offers a supportive space for artists, performers, writers, and other creatives to connect, reflect, and grow together. Through guided discussion and shared experiences, we’ll explore the unique emotional challenges of living a creative life—like self-doubt, perfectionism, burnout, and isolation. Whether you're seeking community, inspiration, or a place to be seen and understood, this group is here to support your personal and creative well-being.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Often Do We Meet?

Therapy sessions are 50 minutes and typically held weekly to provide consistency and momentum. As clients begin to feel more grounded and regulated, many choose to transition to biweekly sessions. We’ll continue to revisit and adjust the frequency as needed to best support your therapeutic goals.

How Much Do Sessions Cost?

My regular fee is $175 per 50-minute session. I understand that therapy is an investment, and in some cases, I offer reduced-fee sessions for clients who need them. If cost is a concern, I welcome you to reach out so we can explore options together.

Do You Take Insurance?

I am an in-network provider with Aetna, Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Quest Behavioral Health. For all other providers, I am happy to provide monthly superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.

Are Your Sessions In-Person or Virtual?

At this time I provide virtual therapy services for individuals across California.

I’m not a California resident. Can I still receive therapy services?

My California LMFT license only allows me to see clients residing in California.

How Do I Schedule A Session?

I invite you to reach out and schedule a complimentary 15-minute consultation call. This is a chance for you to share what’s bringing you to therapy and to see if working together feels like the right fit.
